Young Guyanese athlete Zion Hickerson has earned a remarkable opportunity to showcase his talent at the prestigious Atlético de Madrid Camp in Spain.
The nine-year-old’s impressive performance at a recent tryout in Washington, DC, has secured him a one-week trial at the club’s training facility in Spain in February 2025.
Hickerson’s father is providing unwavering support and working tirelessly to ensure his son has the necessary resources for this life-changing experience.
Beyond his football prowess, Hickerson has also excelled in tennis. He recently clinched the U10 USTA Junior Circuit Title at Court Sense Training Center in Bogota, New Jersey, defeating Rahul Bedekar in the final.
