Beverage giant Banks DIH Limited has thrown its support behind the eighth edition of the Prime Minister’s Softball Cup, coming onboard as a corporate partner of the tournament.
On Wednesday at its head office at Thirst Park, a simple presentation ceremony was held where Dwaine Bristol, Brand Manager, stated that the company is extremely happy to support the tournament, which is slated for October 11-13.
“We [are] glad to be given the opportunity by the League to showcase our GT Beer at this huge softball tournament and certainly happy to support a huge softball tournament like this one,” Bristol commented.
The three-day extravaganza will be hosted by the Georgetown Softball Cricket League (GSCL) Inc. in collaboration with the Office of the Prime Minister and the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport.

He promised that the tournament will definitely be exciting from the first ball since there will be a large number of top softball cricketers on show.
Meanwhile, Colin King, the Water Beverage Manager, shared similar sentiments and was also delighted that his company will be associated with softball cricket. He mentioned that the game has generated great excitement and no doubt the event will be entertaining as well.
