Matthew Vieira retained his Superstock title, even though he did not secure a win in either race at the ENet Caribbean Clash of Champions on Sunday at the South Dakota Circuit.
Powered by ENet, Vieira held a 21-point gap on Kevin Persaud, and his two second-place finishes were good enough to ensure that the championship title remained in his grasp.
He told News Room Sport that his main objective was to complete the races and gather the necessary points for championship success.
British rider Daniel Linfoot showcased his dominance in the Superstock A class, cementing his position as a formidable competitor.
But out of second, Vieira is extremely happy to know he can not just be in the same race as “world-class riders” but also compete, which is a great testament to his skill and determination.
The year has not ended, but he indicated he will be hunting the title again in 2025.
