Skipper Tevin Imlach and Kemol Savory added an unbroken 85 for the fourth wicket to stabilise Guyana Harpy Eagles innings by stumps on Day Two against the Windward Islands Volcanoes at the National Stadium, Providence.
Thursday was another rain-affected day in the fifth round match of the West Indies Four-Day Championship, and Harpy Eagles ended on 159-3, responding to Volcanoes first innings score of 213.

Harpy Eagles were in early trouble at 74-3 with Matthew Nandu (8), Raymond Perez (33) and Kevlon Anderson (21) all back in the dugout.
Imlach and Savory then dug deep in the final session to lift the Harpy Eagles and keep the Volcanoes bowlers at bay.
Savory is not out on 46 off 78 (4x4s) and Imlach on 40 off 70 (2x4s).

Earlier, Volcanoes, resuming on 77-2, collapsed from a position of relative strength at 125-2, as Harpy Eagles’ spin trio Veerasammy Permaul (4-55), Gudakesh Motie (3-44) and Kevin Sinclair (2-54) combined for nine wickets.
Opener Jeremy Solozano made 83 off 142 (10x4s), skipper Alick Athanaze 39 off 71 (4x4s, 1×6) and Sunil Ambris 33 off 52 (4x4s).
