A murder investigation is underway following the death of Miracarmen Rodrigues Serrano, a female sex worker whose body was discovered on July 29. A post-mortem examination has determined that Serrano died from manual strangulation and blunt trauma to the head.
The examination, conducted by Government Pathologist Dr. Nehaul Singh at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, revealed that Serrano sustained severe injuries that led to her death. The victim’s identity was confirmed by her sister, Algandrina Rodrigues.
