Assistant Commissioner of Police, Khali Pareshram, who was the Commander of Region 4’C’ is now the new head of the Guyana Police Force’s (GPF) Strategic Planning Unit.
The Force in a statement issued on Tuesday said the move forms part of recent changes in its command structure.
The changes, the force noted, are meant to further improve efficiency and building capacity.
However, the News Room was reliably informed that Pareshram removal from the Commander post follows a disagreement between him and one of his superiors.
Pareshram was informed of his removal after he recently resumed duty after being on annual leave.
The GPF on Tuesday said Senior Superintendent Michael Kingston is now the Commander of Regional Police Division 4’C’.
Meanwhile, Woman Superintendent Nicola Kendall is the Head of Strategic Implementation for Police Reform. Kendall was previously the head of the force Strategic Planning Unit.
The post Pareshram no longer East Coast Commander appeared first on News Room Guyana.
