Harry Brown, a 24-year-old resident of Kairuni on the Linden/ Soesdyke Highway, died early Sunday morning after he was stabbed while attempting to part a fight among several persons.
Police Headquarters reported that the incident transpired at about 01:30 hrs Sunday at the Kairuni ball field.
Brown and a 23-year-old woman reportedly went to the Heritage Day celebrations at the ground. While at the venue, a fight erupted among several persons and Brown attempted to part the fight.
A 15-year-old, however, attacked Brown with a knife, wounding him to his abdomen and right hand. Two others were stabbed and injured to their abdomens in the brawl.
Those injured were taken for treatment but Brown was pronounced dead. The other injured persons are patients at the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation.
Meanwhile, Police said ranks went to a home in Moblissa Sunday night and found the 15-year-old suspect and two other teenagers (ages 17 and 19) who were involved in the matter.
The three teenagers are in custody, assisting with the investigations.
