Ravi Etwaroo, the proprietor of Cricket Zone USA and brainchild of the E4 line of cricket gear, is warning cricketers about the sale of imitation products in Guyana.
Etwaroo said it was brought to his attention that fake E4 branded products are being sold at unauthorised locations across the country.
“We found this out only recently, and it’s a matter of grave concern for us, because it puts our brand in a bad light. We want to encourage cricketers to be on the lookout for these fake products,” Etwaroo stressed.

The USA-based Guyanese businessman emphasised that the Giftland Mall and Cricnation592 store in Berbice are the only authorized E4 resellers in Guyana.
That aside, persons can order directly from Cricket Zone USA, with weekly shipments to Guyana.
“If you buy from any other location than these two (Giftland Mall and Cricnation592 store), chances are you’re buying a fake product,” Etwaroo added.
“It is time now Guyanese enjoy access to quality gear at an affordable price, which will no doubt enhance performance. That is something we pride ourselves on at Cricket Zone USA.”
A die-hard cricket enthusiast, Etwaroo said he and his family have worked overtime to build the E4 brand, and it is disheartening persons would go at such lengths to illegally profit from his establishment.
ICC approved
In March 2024, E4 was approved by the sport’s global governing body, the International Cricket Council (ICC), to be used in all formats of international cricket (Tests, ODIs and T20Is).
This means the E4 logo can legally be displayed on clothing and equipment used in international cricket.
To gain this accreditation and approval, it was important the E4 brand catered to all levels of cricket- male, female, senior, junior and youth.
It is understood that E4 is the first-ever Guyanese affiliated brand to gain this recognition, an achievement Etwaroo is particularly proud of.
“This is a big thing for us,” the elated businessman Etwaroo told News Room after the approval was granted.
“Because it’s built now as a brand worldwide where we can now attract international players from all the cricket playing nations that are affiliated to the ICC.”
This expansion would take E4 beyond the North American and Caribbean market, with the initial targets being Australia, England, Bangladesh and Pakistan.
