A 28-year-old fisherman, Terrence Simon Adams, has been remanded to prison following a murder charge in connection with the death of his brother-in-law, 22-year-old Michael Jackson.
Adams, who resides at Number 76 Housing Scheme, Corentyne, Berbice, appeared before Magistrate Tuanna Hardy at the Springlands Magistrate’s Court.
The court heard that Adams committed the murder of Jackson on October 10, 2024, at the Number 76 Housing Scheme.
During the proceedings, Adams was not required to enter a plea to the indictable charge.
Magistrate Hardy has officially remanded him, and he is scheduled to return to court for his next hearing on March 27.
