Abram Zuil Secondary have made history with a stunning 8-0 victory over Charity Secondary in the preliminary round of the 11th Milo Schools Football Tournament.
The dominant performance, Abram Zuil’s first-ever win against Charity, saw them control the match from start to finish.
Omar Kendall set the tone with two early goals, followed by strikes from Lester Noel and Otis Roberts, giving Abram Zuil a 4-0 lead at half-time.
The second half continued in the same vein, with Noel completing a hat-trick, an own goal from Charity’s Marion Simpson, and further goals from Eron Benjamin and Noel again sealing the emphatic victory.
This result marks a significant moment for Abram Zuil, now under the guidance of new Head Coach Dwayne James and Assistant Coach Azizi Christiani. The coaches are confident their team can go far in the tournament.
“This is a massive moment for the team and the school,” said Coach James. “It’s a testament to the hard work we’ve put in.”
