Press Release from Fruta Conquerors Football Club
Fruta Conquerors Football Club proudly acknowledges the generous and visionary support of First Lady Arya Ali, who has honoured her commitment to the renovation of the Tucville Ground by donating five truckloads of sand, the last of which arrived on Wednesday evening.
This transformational gesture directly supports the club’s mission to create a safer, more professional training environment, with a strong emphasis on empowering women and youth through sport.
Fruta Conquerors President Mr. Martin Massiah thanked Her Excellency Arya Ali for her timely contribution, stating: “This is more than a donation, it’s an investment in the future of football and a powerful show of support for our women’s division. The First Lady’s partnership helps lay the foundation for our goal of becoming a CONCACAF Licensed Club, which will bring real, lasting development to our footballers, our institution, and the entire Tucville community.”
The initiative has sparked an incredible wave of community support.
Since the club’s public call for assistance just two days ago, a total of nine truckloads of sand have already been delivered with more support pledged in the coming days.
Special thanks goes out to GuyWillShip for donating two truckloads, and Guy-Lupe Logistics for contributing one truckload.
The very first truckload arrived just hours after the call was made, funded by loyal fans pooling their resources.
Eclipse DigitalPhoto also played a key role in that initial effort.
This project not only supports young athletes, but will significantly enhance the infrastructure needed to elevate the women’s football programme at Fruta Conquerors, a key pillar of the club’s development vision.
Fruta Conquerors FC extends sincere appreciation to all who have contributed and looks forward to continued community and corporate partnership as we build a brighter future for football in Guyana.
