Demerara Cricket Club (DCC) and Georgetown Cricket Club (GCC) will clash in the highly anticipated final of the Georgetown Cricket Association’s Pepsi First Division 50-over final, set for Saturday at Bourda.
Bowl-off is at 09:30h and both teams will be missing key players.
DCC will be without Tevin Imlach, Raymond Perez and Ashmead Nedd and GCC will miss the services of all-rounders Ronaldo Alimohamed and Kevin Sinclair, all of whom are on national duties with the Guyana Harpy Eagles.
DCC will be led by all-rounder Christopher Barnwell and includes Brandon Jaikarran, Joshua Persaud, Sachin Singh, Jonathan Van Lange, Ezekiel Wilson, Alphius Bookie, Daniel Mootoo, Mark Cumberbatch, Nkosi Beaton, Indarjit Nanan, Steven Sankar, Jayden Dowlin, Ricardo Percival, Gustavo Hutson and Andre Gibbons.
Left-arm spinner Devon Lord will captain a GCC side that includes Leon Johnson, Navindra Persaud, Yeudistir Persaud, Aryan Persaud, Khemraj Jaikarran, Rivaldo Phillips, Neiland Cadogan, Thaddeus Lovell, Krsna Singh, Tyree Glasgow, Carlos LaRose, Joash Charles, Deonarine Seegobin, Martin Pestano-Belle and Richard Kansinally.
