An emotional Subrian Younge, the father of 11-year-old Adrianna Younge, called for an end to all violence in a TikTok video on Tuesday morning following a night of fiery protests, robberies, and other disturbances.
In what he said were words straight from his heart, the grieving father said his beloved daughter was not a violent person and did not like violence of any kind. So he pleaded with people to remain peaceful.
Subrian admitted that upon hearing some information related to his daughter’s passing from the pathologists who conducted her autopsy, he was distraught. However, the man said he knows his daughter would not want any violent actions to unfold.
Independent Pathologists rule out ‘forced drowning’ in Adrianna Younge’s death
“Everybody out there who seh they love Adrianna, and want to be there for Adrianna, Adrianna won’t like violence. I telling y’all the truth from my heart.
“From my heart, Adrianna don’t like violence, Adrianna is not a violent girl.
“So if y’all please love me daughter, y’all please stop the violence, y’all please protest in a normal way,” Subrian said in his video message.
Younge’s tragic death last week sparked widespread public outcry. Pathologists on Monday confirmed that she died by drowning. After the announcement of her cause of death, there were fiery protests around Guyana, with many still in disbelief. In other instances, there were robberies, looting, and other disturbances.
