More than 24 pounds of cocaine found in car, three men in custody 

Three men are in custody after ranks from the Customs Anti-Narcotic Unit (CANU) found 10 parcels of cocaine in a motor car.

In a release, CANU said the men in custody are: 47-year-old mechanic Colin Alfred, 28-year-old Terrence Bentinck, and Jason De Freitas who is also known as Whiteboy.

The cocaine found

Alfred and Bentinck were arrested and taken to CANU Headquarters after ranks found 11.148 kilogrammes (or about 24.6 pounds) of cocaine in motor car PAJ 8554.

A wanted bulletin was later issued for DeFreitas and he subsequently turned himself in.

CANU said investigations are ongoing.
