President Dr. Irfaan Ali on Sunday night announced that Guyana’s General and Regional Elections will be held on Monday, September 1, 2025.
The Guyanese Head of State made the announcement as he gave his presidential address for Guyana’s 59th Independence Anniversary. The anniversary celebrations are at Albion, Berbice this year.
The President added that he will soon issue the proclamation for the dissolution of Parliament.
