Toxicology and DNA analyses in Adriana Younge’s autopsy reinforce the conclusion that she died from accidental drowning.
Tests showed no presence of drugs, and a minor trace of ethanol — later attributed to natural postmortem decomposition. Most notably, DNA swabs taken from the mouth, genitals, and anus found no foreign DNA and no molecular evidence of sexual assault.
“Swabs were collected before the body was manipulated, and results confirmed no interference or trauma,” the report read.
Experts say these findings remove any forensic basis for suspicion of foul play. In the pathologists’ opinion, Adriana drowned — alone, and without interference.
