A traveller from Guyana was caught with 3.5 kilogrammes or about 7.7 pounds of cocaine hidden in several pairs of shoes at the Toronto Pearson International Airport, Canada.
The cocaine is said to be worth about CA$ 437,000 or about G$66.8 million.
The evidence was seized and both it and the traveller were turned over to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police in Ontario,” a Facebook post from the Canada Border Service Agency stated.
