The transformative Gas-to-Energy project in Guyana continues to advance steadily, with construction, equipment delivery, and logistics all proceeding in line with the established timeline, the company leading the project said recently.
As the project enters a critical new phase, the company leading the charge—formerly LNDCH4 Guyana—has formally rebranded as Lindsayca Guyana Inc (LND).
The company remains the lead Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contractor and says the rebranding reflects a broader corporate consolidation aimed at aligning its identity with its long-term strategic vision. It also signals continued progress and momentum on what is widely seen as one of the most ambitious and transformative infrastructure projects in Guyana’s modern history.
“…our mission remains unchanged,” said Nelson Drake, Director and Chairman of the Board of Lindsayca Guyana. “We are here to deliver a project that improves lives and creates long-term opportunities for the people of Guyana.”
Despite the name change, Lindsayca Guyana Inc (LND) says its core objectives and scope remain the same. The company continues to drive forward the delivery of affordable, reliable, and sustainable energy solutions for the country, with benefits that are expected to span generations.
“The rebranding follows an internal restructuring that has strengthened the company’s technical and operational capabilities through the onboarding of highly qualified professionals.
“This organizational evolution enhances Lindsayca’s ability to deliver the project with the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance, without impacting the established schedule,” the company said in a statement.
Lindsayca has also reaffirmed its commitment to Guyana’s local content framework, noting that the talent and professionalism of its Guyanese workforce remain central to the project’s success.
As the Gas-to-Energy project progresses toward implementation, Lindsayca Guyana Inc says it will continue to work transparently and collaboratively with all stakeholders—including the government, its strategic partners, and the wider public—to lay the foundation for a stronger, more resilient, and sustainable energy future for the Cooperative Republic of Guyana.
