With Guyfer, it is expected that Guyana will not only enhance its agricultural capacity but also strengthen its position in the Caribbean and South America as a leader in food security.

This collaboration reflects a longstanding relationship between Guyana and the Dominican Republic, built on shared vision and expertise, a press release noted. Through the partnership, it is expected that the support offered to farmers will allow them to embrace modern farming techniques enabling them to maximise yields and optimise land use.

It was further noted that Guyfer is a service-driven initiative designed to empower farmers and elevate industry standards. By working alongside stakeholders, the company aims to streamline fertiliser supply and expand access across the region.
