Several girls who reside at the Mahaica Girls’ Home on the East Coast of Demerara left the facility on Wednesday night but were all located and safely returned soon after.
The News Room was informed that the children left the home due to a misunderstanding among themselves. Local authorities immediately launched a search for the girls.
Just after midnight, the girls were all found and are now safe.
