Guyana unveils squad for RAN 15s clash against Cayman Islands

The Guyana Rugby Football Union (GRFU) has announced its team for the Rugby Americas North (RAN) International Rugby 15s Tournament match against the Cayman Islands. The match, part of the RAN 15s Tournament series in the Caribbean, which contributes to international rankings, will take place on Saturday from 14:00h at the National Park Rugby Ground.

Police sergeant charged with shooting death of  Linden’s Ronaldo Peters

A senior police officer has been formally charged with murder following the fatal shooting of a young man in Linden earlier this month, according to advice from the Director of Public Prosecutions. Sergeant Philbert Kendall, aged 45, was brought before the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court where he was charged with the murder of 21-year-old Ronaldo Peters.
