Man remanded to prison after obtaining nearly $2M fraudulently 

Kelvin John, a 22-year-old unemployed man of Snake Creek, Region One, was remanded to prison on Wednesday after he pleaded guilty to obtaining nearly $2 million by false pretence. Police Headquarters reported that John was arrested on March 28 and was later charged with Obtaining Money by False Pretence. He appeared before Magistrate Rabindranaught Singh

Mohabir, Apple lead Demerara to U-17 Inter-County title
