Pensioner murdered during robbery at Lusignan

Police are investigating an early morning robbery and murder that claimed the life of 70-year-old Deonarine, a male pensioner, at his Lusignan Railway Embankment, East Coast Demerara home on Wednesday. According to investigators, the incident occurred around 3:30 hrs at the one-storey wooden home where Deonarine lived with his reputed wife, a 69-year-old fellow pensioner.
