Randolph Braithwaite, a 72-year-old resident of Linden, Region 10, died early Saturday after he was struck down at Amelia’s Ward.
Police Headquarters said it is not yet known what vehicles were involved in the accident.
Braithwaite’s body was found lying on the southern parapet of the 3rd corner of Amelia’s Ward Access Road in Linden, with what appears to be lacerations about the body, suspected to be injuries sustained as a result of a motor vehicle accident.
He was picked up by Police Officers and taken to the Linden Hospital Complex, where he was pronounced dead by a doctor. His body is presently at Jetsco Funeral Home for cold storage and awaiting a post-mortem examination.
A full investigation was launched and ranks are working on all leads.
