A 40-year-old man is in police custody following a late-night armed robbery in Georgetown, during which a young sales clerk was allegedly assaulted and robbed of an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect, identified as Dwayne John, of Lot 56 Bent Street, Werk-en-Rust, is accused of robbing 20-year-old Avinesh Singh at gunpoint around 23:15 hrs
