Man arrested in Beterverwagting with cocaine

Morris Cameron was arrested during a Customs Anti Narcotic Unit (CANU) operation on Tuesday in Beterverwagting, East Coast Demerara, after he was found with 7.860 kilogrammes (or about 17.3 pounds) of cocaine. CANU, in a statement, said Cameron was intercepted carrying a bag with several parcels of cocaine. Investigations are ongoing.
