GFF names first National Esports Squad

The Guyana Football Federation (GFF) has officially selected its first national esports squad, a historic move that will see the country’s top players compete on the global stage.

Following the inaugural GFF eSports League—Console Division, four standout players have been chosen to represent Guyana at the upcoming FIFAe World Cup 2025 Regional Qualifiers in in Riyadh.

The team was selected after a fiercely competitive tournament featuring 33 players. The four finalists who will now represent the nation are:

  • Moen Hall – GFF Console Division 2025 Champion
  • Trayon Guillaume – Runner-up
  • Ricardo Sukra – Third place
  • Jermaine Lewis – Fourth place finalist

These four players have been formally elevated to national team status and received their official kits at a presentation ceremony at GFF headquarters.

Top federation officials, including General Secretary Pushpargha Chattopadhyay and Senior Men’s National Team Head Coach Thomas Dooley, attended the event.
