The Guyana Football Federation (GFF) and Machinery Corporation of Guyana (MACORP) on Thursday (October 16, 2025) announced the strengthening of their partnership to enhance the competence of local footballers.
Through an alliance birthed in 2021, male and female footballers are exposed to excavator and technician scholarship programmes, preparing them for life beyond the football pitch.
GFF and MACORP have emphasised the importance of developing well-rounded athletes, noting that success on the field must be matched with opportunities off it, so players are prepared for every stage of their lives.
