The Guyana Hockey Board (GHB) will host the 2025 National Indoor Hockey Championship, proudly sponsored by Bounty Supermarkets, from November 4-9 at the National Gymnasium, Mandela Avenue.
As Guyana’s premiere indoor hockey tournament, the National Indoor Championship will see the country’s top clubs battle for national supremacy across four divisions- Men’s First Division, Men’s Second Division, Women’s Open and Over-40 Mixed.
The annual event not only crowns national champions, but also provides a vital platform for clubs to fine-tune their play ahead of the highly anticipated 20th anniversary Diamond Mineral Water International Hockey Festival, set for the end of November.
This year’s competition will also feature special appearances by the Guyana Men’s and Women’s National Over-40 Masters Teams, who will compete in the Men’s First Division and Women’s Open categories respectively.
The inclusion of the Masters sides adds a new level of excitement and competition, as they prepare to represent Guyana at the 2026 World Masters Hockey Indoor World Cup, scheduled for March 2026 in Nottingham, England.
President of the Guyana Hockey Board, Philip Fernandes, expressed appreciation to Bounty Supermarkets for their ongoing support.

The Guyana Hockey Board said in a press release: “Fans can expect five days of fast-paced action, thrilling match-ups, and a display of the country’s best indoor hockey talent. Matches begin daily at 17:00h on weekdays and 10:00h on the weekend and admission is free to the public.”
