Ranks of Regional Division #4 ‘B’ on Monday night conducted an intelligence-led operation at Kuru Kururu, Soesdyke-Linden Highway, which led to the discovery of a quantity of cannabis and the arrest of a male vendor.
The operation, carried out around 22:00hrs on November 10, 2025, saw police ranks visiting a shop in the area, where they made contact with a 29-year-old vendor who resides at Kuru Kururu.
During a search of the premises, officers unearthed a black plastic bag containing several small transparent zip-lock packets filled with leaves, seeds, and stems suspected to be cannabis.
The suspect was immediately arrested. Police said the narcotics were weighed in his presence, amounting to 102.6 grams. The substance was lodged as investigations continue.
