Simpson appeared before Magistrate Rhondel Weever at the Wales Magistrate’s Court. When the charge was read to her, she was not required to plead. She was subsequently placed on $500,000 bail, with the condition that she report to the Police on the 15th of every month at Leonora Police Station.
