A late night accident along the Wisroc Public Road in Linden has claimed the lives of three persons on Thursday.
One of the victims has been identified Andrew Irving.
The identities of the other two victims—a man and a woman—are not yet known.
The News Room understands that the accident occurred around 22:00 hrs when the vehicle in which Irving was travelling in, slammed into a parked container truck.
Reports indicate that the vehicle allegedly attempted to overtake oncoming traffic before crashing into the truck.
Information reaching the News Room suggests that the container truck was parked on the roadway while its occupant had exited to address an issue with the vehicle.
Investigations are ongoing. Additional details will be provided in a subsequent report.
