Police have apprehended Travis Brewster, also known as “Turpin,” a miner from Victory Valley, Wismar, Linden, who was wanted in connection with two separate murder investigations.
In a statement, Police Headquarters confirmed that Brewster was arrested on Monday around 15:35hrs at 14 Mile, Issano Landing, Region Seven. A wanted bulletin was recently issued for him.
Brewster is wanted for the murder of Ron Clarke in Linden on July 17, 2025. He is also a suspect in the alleged murder of Emanuel Williams, called “Chiny,” a gold miner from Five Miles Scheme, Bartica, which occurred on Friday, January 23, 2026.
Brewster is presently in Police custody as investigations into the murders continue.
