Balram Jhaman, a 50-year-old excavator operator, died on Wednesday after the machine capsized and pinned him underneath. Police Headquarters reported that, the accident occurred at Mango Landing in Region Ten.
Balram, of Soesdyke, East Bank Demerara, reportedly entered the excavator and attempted to move if off a trailer when it capsized and fell in a ditch.
He sustained injuries about his body and was transported to the Linden Hospital Complex where he was pronounced dead.
