The Guyana Police Force is investigating a suspected death by suicide involving a 20-year-old resident of Paramakatoi, Region Eight.
The man reportedly died on Monday.
However, Police said further investigations are necessary.
“Due to the remoteness of the area, the body was buried and will be exhumed for a post-mortem examination to be conducted by Government Pathologist Dr. Nehaul Singh, who is expected to travel to the location on Thursday March 26, 2026,” a Police release said.
