Christine Sukhram has once again proven her dominance on the green, winning the Massy Goli and Soldanza Golf Tournament in commanding fashion at the Lusignan Golf Club.
Sukhram, regarded as Guyana’s top female golfer, produced a stellar round that saw her finish ahead of a field dominated by male competitors.
She carded a gross score of 77, which, with her 10 handicap, resulted in a net score of 67. The win solidifies her reputation as a force to be reckoned with in Guyanese golf.
The battle for the top spots was tight. Brian Hackett finished in a strong second place with a net score of 68, while Carlos Adams secured third with a net 71.
Beyond the main leaderboard, several golfers received special recognition for their performance. Avinash Persaud took home the Best Gross prize with a score of 76. Ravindra Harry won Longest Drive, and Paton George was awarded Nearest to the Pin.
