Samuel Marciano, a 22-year-old miner from One Mile, Wismar, Linden died after he was shot multiple times at 14 Miles, Issano Landing, Middle Mazaruni during a social gathering.
Police Headquarters reported that the shooting occurred at about 01:00hrs on Sunday. According to reports, Marciano was reportedly shot by two known individuals.
Investigators are actively pursuing leads to locate the two suspects, and the Police Force is appealing to anyone with information that may assist to contact 911 or the nearest police station.
Police ranks discovered a number of spent shells and a live round at the scene.
Marciano’s body was escorted to the McKenzie Hospital.
Investigations are continuing.
