Trophy Stall backs ExxonMobil Futsal Championship in Linden

The upcoming ExxonMobil Futsal Championship has received a boost with Trophy Stall confirming its sponsorship, donating the winner’s trophy ahead of the tournament’s launch on Friday.

The competition, coordinated by New Era Entertainment, features a top prize of $1.5 million and is dedicated to raising awareness for men’s health and reducing domestic violence in the community.

The trophy was formally presented to New Era Co-Director Aubrey Major Jr at the entity’s Bourda location.

The fourth edition of the event will feature 16 teams competing at the Retrieve Tarmac.

The tournament kicks off on Friday and will run across nine days, with the final scheduled for November 29.

Teams have been divided into four groups, with the top two in each group advancing to the quarter-final knockout stage:

  • Group A: Hard-knocks, Hardball Management, Bomberz, YMCA B
  • Group B: Spaniards, YMCA A, HH Ballers, Figgy FC
  • Group C: Young Gunners, Silver Bullets, Foundation Family, Westside Ballers
  • Group D: DC Ballers, Salah Family, Stabroek,  Fearless

The runners-up will pocket $750,000, while third and fourth place receive $350,000 and $200,000, respectively.

Individual prizes also take center stage: the Most Valuable Player (MVP) will receive a motorcycle, and a $300,000 economic grant will be awarded to a player or fan to support their academic development.

Additionally, all participating teams will receive a $40,000 appearance fee upon completing the group stage.
