Dinar’s Trading backs President’s Futsal Championship

The 2025 President’s Futsal Championship has received a significant boost ahead of its kick-off next week, with Dinar’s Trading coming on board as a primary sponsor for the growing national event.

The tournament, organised by the Kashif and Shanghai Organisation in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport, is set to be the largest in its history, featuring a record total of nearly 70 teams across three categories: Senior Men, Women, and the newly introduced Schoolboys’ division.

Sayad Ahamad, Manager of Dinar’s Trading, expressed the company’s satisfaction in continuing their long-standing support for local sports development.

“Our support for the Kashif and Shanghai Organisation is well known, and we are once again showing our commitment to this tournament, which we look forward to,” Ahamad said.

“With a record number of teams set to play and the introduction of the schoolboys’ segment, we anticipate a lot of excitement.”

The third edition of the championship features a significant prize pool, reflecting the tournament’s increased scale and prestige:

  • Senior Men: G$6 million in cash and prizes, featuring international participation from Brazil and Trinidad and Tobago.
  • Women: G$1.5 million at stake.
  • Schoolboys: G$2 million to be contested in the new junior category.

Tournament action begins on Tuesday, December 9, with the new schoolboys’ segment kicking off the day’s matches, followed by the senior action from 20:00h.

Matches will be contested every Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall, culminating in the final on January 2nd, 2026.
