Essequibo and Berbice pulled off contrasting wins on Saturday when the T20 segment of the Guyana Cricket Board/Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport Senior Women’s Inter-County competition bowled off at the LBI Ground.

In the opening contest, Essequibo, fresh off their title success in the just concluded 50-over competition, defeated Demerara by five runs, with Analesia D’Aguiar conceding just a solitary run in the final over to seal the win.
Berbice later inflicted a 94-run defeat on the Hinterland All-Stars to announce their title credentials after relinquishing their 50-over title a few days ago.

The tournament will continue on Sunday (December 7) with Essequibo facing Berbice from 09:00h and Hinterland All-Stars against Demerara from 13:00h at the LBI Ground.
