Defending champions Guyana will face Windward Islands in the opening round of the Cricket West Indies’ Women’s T20 Blaze competition on January 13 in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
Under the leadership of Shemaine Campbelle, Guyana won the tournament in 2025, defeating reigning champions Jamaica in a thrilling Super Over finish at the Arnos Vale Playing Field.
Campbelle will lead the Guyana side once again as they look to maintain a stranglehold on the T20 Blaze trophy and also lift the CG United Super50 Cup for the first time.
All games in the T20 Blaze tournament will be played at Arnos Vale with three matches per day, featuring all six teams- Barbados, Guyana, Jamaica, Leeward Islands, Trinidad and Tobago and Windward Islands.

Following their opening game, the Guyanese will face Leeward Islands on January 15, Jamaica on January 17, Trinidad and Tobago on January 20 and Barbados on January 22.
At the end of the preliminary round of matches, the top two teams will clash in the final on January 24. On the same day, there will also be the third place and fifth place playoff games.
The CG United Super50 Cup- shortened to just three rounds this season- will commence on January 27 with Guyana facing Jamaica. Guyana will then clash with Trinidad and Tobago on January 29, and Windward Islands on January 31.
Guyana squad: Shemaine Campbelle (Captain), Ashmini Munisar (Vice-captain) Shabika Gajnabi, Sheneta Grimmond, Realeanna Grimmond, Nyia Latchman, Kaysia Schultz, Laurene Williams, Latoya Williams, Analesia D’Aguiar, Plaffianna Millington, Mandy Mangru, Feona Benjamin and Tremaine Marks.
