A man and a woman was on Tuesday discovered dead at a Wortmanville, Georgetown guest house where they both worked, in a suspected murder-suicide.
Sources identified the woman only as Loriann while the man has been identified as her ex-partner, 36-year-old Cyril Saul.
Reports are that Saul worked as a security guard while Loriann was employed as a cleaner at the KK Villa Guesthouse, which is situated on Lime Street, Wortmanville.
Reports reaching the News Room revealed that Loriann was discovered in Room 15 at around 08:15 hrs, lying in a pool of blood on her abdomen.
While, Saul was found in Room 10, lying on his back.
Preliminary investigation revealed that Saul’s brother, Patrick Saul, related to Police that the couple shared a relationship, which ended about two months ago.
He claimed that he received a call from Cyril around 05:00 hrs who told him that he and Loriann had an argument and he wanted to go to the hospital.
Police were summoned and an investigation is ongoing.
