The Guyana Hindu Dharmic Sabha has announced that Indian Idol sensation Pawandeep Rajan will be joined on stage by acclaimed vocalist Chetna Bhardwaj for his highly anticipated concert in Guyana on February 28.
The performance, which is set to take place at the Dharmic Rama Krishna School Tarmac at Pattensen, Georgetown, will now feature a dynamic musical pairing that blends soulful melodies with classical finesse.
Chetna Bhardwaj rose to prominence through Indian Idol Season 11, where she earned praise for her heart-touching voice and commanding stage presence. Trained in Indian classical music from childhood, Bhardwaj is known for seamlessly fusing traditional styles with contemporary performance, a combination that has won her audiences at home and abroad.
The Dharmic Sabha said her addition to the concert promises a power-packed musical experience for fans, complementing Pawandeep’s versatility and emotional depth.
As previously reported by News Room, Pawandeep, winner of Indian Idol Season 12, will be performing with his full band in what organisers have described as one of the major cultural highlights leading into the festival of colours.
Proceeds from the concert will go towards the expansion of the Dharmic Rama Krishna School and Bal Nivas, the Sabha’s shelter for children.
