In an extraordinary twist of fate, the Pooran family has found themselves the proud owners of a racehorse after winning a raffle at the Guyana Cup.
The family had been considering skipping the prestigious racing event due to the recent loss of their own beloved horse. However, a last-minute decision to purchase raffle tickets led to an unexpected and life-changing win.
A friend, Randy, had purchased a dozen tickets and generously shared three with the Poorans. One of these tickets proved to be the golden ticket, granting them ownership of a yearling filly.
The win has brought joy and a new chapter for the family, who are now looking forward to their equine companion’s future.
The winning horse is a USA-bred roan/grey yearling filly by Funtastic/Rainbow Bright.
